Each door leaf is constructed from…

Two skins of 1.2mm (18's gauge) thick `Galvaneal` steel to form a 44mm thick door leaf with no face seams. Doors are stiffened, insulated and sound deadened ith pre-expanded, small cell honeycomb core material and laminated under pressure to the face skins. Doors are complete with lock and hardware reinforcements. Face skins are connected by a continuous 'deep pocket' inter-locking edge lock seam for added strength. 1.6mm (16's gauge) steel end channels projection welded to top and bottom of the door. Doors are morticed, reinforced, drilled and tapped for three templated hinges. Double doors incorporate an integral astragal to ensure a totally sealed unit.

The door frame is constructed from 1.5mm zinc protected steel formed into our standard 89mm deep single rebate frame. A 250mm double rebate for cross cavity fitting is available as an optional extra.

The Frame is fitted with 3 No Class 13 stainless steel hinges c/w 1 No security dog bolt.

Each side of the frame is complete with 4 fixing points with rapid fit adjustable feet instead of awkward shims.

The frame comes complete with our unique expandable sub frame to ensure a precision fit to your structure.

Wrap around and other custom frame profiles are available additional cost.

Doors are supplied in grey primer finish for on site painting as standard however we have our own finishing facility, with powder coat finishes being available. We can offer a range of 28 standard powder coat colours with non-standards being available at additional cost and subject to powder availability.

The `Hydra S & D` are fitted as standard with frame seals, stainless steel hinges, dog bolt and aluminium threshold with the `Hydra D` having flush bolts to the inactive leaf.

Mortice Sashlock Latchbolt withdrawn by lever handles from either side. Deadbolt operated by cylinder key or thumbturn.	Mortice Nightlatch Latchbolt withdrawn by lever handle inside and by key from outside. (Complies with BS EN 179)
Mortice Deadlock Deadbolt operated by cylinder key or thumbturn.	Mortice Bathroom Lock Latchbolt withdrawn by lever handles from either side. Deadbolt operated by turn or emergency release.
Mortice Latch Latchbolt withdrawn by lever handles from either side.	Euro Profile Cylinders 5-pin single, double or cylinder and turn. (Available keyed-alike or masterkeyed to special order)

The `Hydra Fire 60S` is fitted as standard with a door closer, smoke seals, stainless steel hinges and pull handle/push plate. The `Hydra Fire 60D` also has a leaf selector and auto shoot bolts to inactive leaf. Approved to BS 476 part 20 & 22 for use as unlatched fire and smoke control.

The `Hydra Fire 120S` door is fitted as standard with a door closer, smoke seals, stainless steel hinges, DIN standard latch and lever handles. The `Hydra Fire 120D` also has flush bolts to inactive leaf. Approved to BS 476 part 20 & 22 for use as latched fire and smoke control.

The `Hydra Fire 240S` door is fitted as standard with a door closer, smoke seals, stainless steel hinges, ASSA modular latch and lever handles. The `Hydra Fire 240D` also has flush bolts to inactive leaf. Approved to BS 476 part 20 & 22 for use as latched fire and smoke control.

Sizes:-

A full range of door sizes to suit openings from 700mm to 2600mm wide are carried in stock. All stock doors are to suit a structural opening height of 2100mm. Door can be modified to suit non standard openings. Doors can be custom manufactured to suit any opening up to 2600mm x 2950mm and vision panels, louver panels etc. can be incorporated into the design.
