Retractable Dock Shelter

To suit loading bay doors where there is a range of different vehicle sizes in use. The shelter retracts upon impact, yet the pivot arms are arranged to automatically keep the shelter in the projected position for normal use.

The shelter is particularly effective where the approach to the doorway is difficult, and where a fixed frame dock shelter would suffer regular impact. The particular advantage of this shelter over may other retractable shelters is its extremely low maintenance costs.

Having no springs, no curtain stays and very few moving parts, there is little to repair or replace. With the vehicle docked against the heavy-duty curtains, an environmental seal is created to block out weather, insects, dust and other pollutants.
