Fail Safe Tubular Motor Operated Roller Shutter Door.

Specification: -

The shutter curtain is constructed from suitable interlocking galvanised steel laths and galvanised “T” section bottom rail, running in galvanised steel side channels, mounted on mild steel / galvanised steel support angles / boxes, which are bolted to the structure.

The curtain is supported form a suitable steel tube barrel assembly at high level, running on steel bearings. The barrel assembly is supported between mild steel endplates.

All mild steel components are finished in one coat of primer.

Operation: -

Electrical operation is by means of high quality single-phase tubular motor and gearbox fitted within the barrel assembly. An emergency manual hand crank over-ride is provided as standard to allow operation of the door in case of power failure. A SAFETY BRAKE is fitted to the non-drive end of the barrel assembly to prevent uncontrolled dropping of shutter curtain.
