ADFH 1 Electro Hydraulic Swing Lip Leveller
Specification:-
An electro-hydraulic swing lip dock leveller designed strictly in accordance with the British standard BS EN 1398 and designed and manufactured to the highest possible quality using an automated production facility complete with robotised technology.
By pressing the control box operating button, the platform will rise to its uppermost position, at which point the lip hinged at the front of the platform will automatically swing out. Upon releasing the operating button, the lip will lower itself by controlled descent onto the bed of the vehicle and will automatically 'float' with the fluctuations in height during loading.
Upon completion of loading, the operating button is pressed, the platform rises and the lip is automatically returned to position by means of a double acting lip cylinder. When the operating is released the platform lowers itself by controlled descent back to the supported cross traffic position.
Safety & Maintenance Features:-
- Chequer plate platform surface prevents slipping and 10no. Strengthening beams on the underside guarantee the full load bearing capacity
- To safeguard when the platform is above dock, the leveller incorporates protection toe guards that include black and yellow warning stripes
- A safety maintenance prop is supplied as standard
- All hydraulic components are designed to withstand twice the quoted operating load
- Gradient indicators ensure the dock leveller is always operated within the stipulated maximum gradient of 12.5%
- A green pilot lamp on the control panel indicates when the leveller is in the operating position and that it is safe to use
- For simple and safe maintenance access, the power pack is mounted on the base and towards the front of the dock leveller unit
- Hazard warning stripes are fitted in recessed punched seats, eliminating abrasion and making them practically everlasting
- The unique design of the power pack enables the platform to safely 'float' even if the power is lost, and under these circumstances the leveller can even be manually parked, ensuring building security is maintained
- The lip rotates on 'maintenance free' self lubricating bushes ensuring constant smooth operation
